Effective Wednesday, January 6th, 2021:

Governor Whitmer and the MI Department of Health and Human Services indicated that on Monday, 1/11/2021, they will be moving MI to phase 1B. Phase 1B will include people 65 and older and some essential workers. Please understand that this will be a slow process as the vaccine supply is still limited. We have been advised that in order to schedule for the vaccine you MUST register thru the health departments website (see below). We ask that for more information and to register for the vaccine, that you keep checking your local health department website.

In addition to the local health departments, Beaumont will also be giving the COVID vaccine to patients over the age of 65. If you have a “myBeaumontchart”, you should have received an email from them last night explaining the process. If you do not have a “myBeaumontchart” you can create a free personal account at “myBeaumontChart.com

As we have previously communicated, we have sent an application to the State of MI and are waiting to hear if we will be able to receive and give the vaccine. At this time the vaccines are being sent to the health departments, hospital and pharmacies. Please continue to watch for information provided by your local health department, the State of MI and the CDC.

As soon as we have more information we will be sending another notice to all patients that are on our portal.
